ohhh my god i am so excited about the new tron soundtrack! the movie? sure sure yeah whatever but the OST AAHHH !!! i love nine inch nails, they're easily one of my favorite bands of all time. i've liked everything trent & atticus have made for soundtracks, but this feels REAL this feels like a Nine Inch Nails song off a Nine Inch Nails album. the whole song is so good it makes ME feel good !!!! the grit, the beat, trent's vocals, the "yeahyeahyeah" in the synth backing AHHHAAAAAA!!!!!!! I LUV NINE INCH NAILSSSSS !!!!!! :D

for the cold country - black country, new road | 10/10
big hugemungus fan of this one off their newest album! never really heard much before, so i wasn't sure what to expect. SO pleasantly surprised! this album, but this song specifically, sounds like hope and laughter and the sun coming out after a storm. i absolutely love it!

jellyous - illit | 9/10
okaaay so maybe i'm back in my kpop era. huge into it all when i was in highschool, and then denounced it after a few years, and now five years later it's like yeaaaah we're so back actually. this song is so stupid catchy i don't know what the FUCK they put in it but it's like crack. i am so hooked on this song i luv it :)

car alarm - pat's soundhouse | 9/10
i actually saw this guy on instagram reels or maybe tiktok playing this song and i sent it to joel, not thinking much of it but i really, really enjoyed it when i heard the whole song. it has this profound urgency to it that makes me feel like i'm breathing fast my heart is in my chest and i'm moving through time in a way most reckless, but a depth and feeling that makes me think "it's all worth it actually". life is tragic and dispicable and so incredibly beautiful and full of laughter and love and oh my GOD i need to start living it !!!"

슈게이저 - misty blue | 8/10
this is quite literally the best soundtrack i've had this year for my ritual of laying on my bed and staring at the ceiling wistfully. never really heard much from this group before but i will be listening to more. this is sooooooo insanely good i am rotting i am melting i am melancholic and hopeless (more me than the song but mannnn this is so soothing!)

purr la perla - violet indiana | 7/10
if the misty blue track is perfect for laying on your back looking at the ceiling and (somewhat positively) rotting, this beautiful song is throwing yourself on to your bed in whatever pose lets you dramatically look through your hair.... and rotting. the nancy sinatra-esque guitar is so reverbed and echoed out of this world and it's really working for me as i write this. maybe i'm not doing that great! :)

go on - a.s.o | 7/10
this is a whole body experience in my airpods. the synth is such a funky interjection and the droning "go on.. go on.. go on.." is so almost haunting? but in a retro sort of way. it feels good in the ears in a way that is so wonderfully reminiscent of 90's trip hop!

when it gets going i really dig it, but it was like 2:20am and i was alone in my room when i heard this the first time and with the stereo audio and the little voices at the beginning i was really paranoid for about 2 seconds that someone was in here with me speaking to me in hushed tones or that it was a ghost outside my door. the fear and tightness in my chest did not leave my body for at least an hour or two after that. like . cool track man but don't do that shit again
